A Bit About Me
I started composing when I was around the age of 9, and really dived into the singer songwriter world at the age of 14. It was at that time I recorded and released my first EP. For the next 4 years leading into my adulthood, my parents (mother a pianist and father an actor) led me towards the right education that would support my dreams. I finished my second EP, "Original" in 2018 at the age of 19. That EP opened a lot of doors and helped me build more and more connections with the music community in Utah.
I then took on the 4 year journey of getting my Bachelors Degree in Commercial Music at Utah Valley University where I worked closely with the head of my program, Todd Sorenson, a highly demanded session drummer, percussionist, producer, and composer/arranger. He also has a label, "Anarchy Music" with Warner Chappell Production Music. Todd was and still is a massive help in my education and career. In my final year of studies in 2020, he let me record my 3rd EP, "Feel the Season" at his studio. (Anarchy Studios) That experience launched my partnership with Todd, leading into the release of my first studio album, "Headspace" in the fall of 2021. For the next year, Todd and I worked together on projects with my own clients, and with some of his. I learned the ways of running of studio by watching his process from start to finish and how he interacts with clients. Overtime, Todd gave me more independence, until I was able to confidently take charge of the studio on my own.
In the fall of 2022, I attended Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain where I received my Masters Degree in Scoring for Film, Television, and Video Games. During my studies, I scored 4 short films and released 2 live studio singles. I now work in Herriman, Utah at my home studio, where I am scoring a feature film, orchestrating 2 musicals, and recording several singles for clients, including my own music.
The next step is to move to Los Angeles to work in any capacity with music, and establishing connections and friends with the community there.
